- preheat your oven to 325°

- Pour batter evenly into 2 round cake pans. (pans should be lined with parchment paper and dusted with flour)

- To make frosting(I suggest to make in advance) : in small pot whisk water and flour. While stirring bring mixture to simmer. When mixture is consistent and looks like it's beginning to turn clear turn it off. Cool Flour blend in refrigerator for 2 hours.
- When the cake is fully cooled make frosting. Take out your cooled flour blend. Mix sugar and butter at medium speed. Add flour blend. Mix until light and fluffy.
- Last but not least strain cherry filling as best you can. Frost bottom layer and cherries on top of the frosting. (save a few cherries for the top). Add top layer of the cake and frost. Add a few cherries in the center. Voilà
